Senior Data Consultant - Defence (Data Science, Governance, Strategy)

About the role

PA Consulting is expanding its Defence & Security team in Copenhagen and is looking for experienced data professionals who can turn data expertise into business value in a complex security and technology landscape. You will work on projects affecting Denmark's future defence and national security, close to clients in the defence sector, and may later work on defence and security tasks internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data and analytics solutions that strengthen decision support and operational capacity
• Design and set up cross-functional data platforms
• Develop data and digitalisation strategies together with key stakeholders
• Establish and mature data governance, data architecture and master data processes
• Data engineering and architecture: design data platforms, integrations and pipelines
• Support digital infrastructure in operational environments through IT processes with a strong security focus
• Work across technology, organisation and people in a multidisciplinary team, delivering measurable results

Required profile

• Experience working with the above in the defence or similar operational environments
• Project leadership, stakeholder management and delivery experience in complex settings
• Strong analytical and communication skills and structured problem solving
• Business understanding and ability to bridge data, technology and organisation
• Relevant academic degree, e.g. data, IT, engineering, economics or social sciences
• Fluent Danish and English are required
• Experience from management or IT consulting firms, including project leadership, client development and team mentoring
