Senior Customer Delivery Architect

About the role

Cisco is looking for a Senior Customer Delivery Architect to join its Customer Experience (CX) EMEA North team in Copenhagen. You will act as the trusted technical advisor and lead architectural authority for Cisco's most strategic customer engagements across Denmark and the Nordic region, bridging Cisco technology with customers' strategic business transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy: turn customer business visions into scalable, secure designs and multi-year technology roadmaps across Plan, Design and Implementation (PDI) and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Advise customer C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CISO) and chief enterprise architects on ROI and critical architectural decisions.
• Work with customers on Cisco IQ insights into their networks, including proactive risk audits and remediation of resilience infrastructure services and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
• Review and validate complex designs and configurations produced by Consulting Engineers and CX Centers.
• Partner with Danish Account Executives, Systems Engineering leadership and CX Delivery Managers to shape Statements of Work and expand engagements.
• Share field insights, architecture trends and feature gaps with Cisco Engineering Business Units and Product Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 8+ years.
• Proven track record as Lead Architect on multi-domain infrastructure transformation projects for large enterprise, public sector or service provider clients.
• Multi-domain technical depth in at least two areas: Enterprise Networking & Campus, Data Center & Cloud, Security & SASE.
• Fluent business English and Danish (written and spoken).

Preferred qualifications

• In-depth design and implementation knowledge of at least two Cisco domains (e.g. SD-WAN, Meraki, Catalyst 9000, Nexus, ACI, Cisco Secure Firewall, SASE, Zero Trust).
• CCIE / CCDE, TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification.
• Experience with observability, network programmability and automation (Python, REST APIs, Ansible/Terraform).
• Experience building automated validation pipelines (CI/CD) and using AI-assisted workflows in network engineering.
• History of mentoring, publishing whitepapers or presenting at conferences.
