Senior Construction Manager

About the role

The global life‑sciences manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a major infrastructure project with complex civil works in Hillerød, Denmark. This high‑impact position focuses on delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating multiple contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of construction activities, ensuring schedule, cost and quality targets are met.
• Monitor contractor progress, own schedule tracking and milestone achievement.
• Oversee financial performance, support cost control and conduct earned value analysis.
• Lead coordination among contractors, internal project services and EHS teams.
• Facilitate and contribute to construction, internal and contractor review meetings.
• Manage construction‑related risk, change processes and CMR cases.
• Promote a collaborative, one‑team culture across all project parties.
• Ensure final delivery meets standards and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management on large‑scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong technical background in civil works and industrial environments.
• Proven track record of managing contractors and driving project performance.
• Experience with schedule management, cost tracking and earned value methodologies.
• Ability to operate in a multi‑stakeholder environment with strong leadership presence.
