Senior Building Engineer – Building Analysis and Restoration

About the role

Ramboll is looking for an experienced building engineer or structural designer for building analysis within its renovation and building physics competence centre in Copenhagen. You will work on investigations and restoration of buildings, diagnose complex building damage and develop durable solutions, in close collaboration with colleagues across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out building investigations and analyses, including diagnosis of building damage
• Contribute to restoration projects and remediation of defects in construction
• Work closely with colleagues from other departments
• Influence work processes and client relationships according to your profile and development wishes

Required profile

• Degree in structural engineering, civil engineering or equivalent professional profile
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably as a consultant or from the contractor industry, with a focus on renovation projects
• Experience as a project manager, for example in subcontracting or turnkey contracts
• Specialised knowledge of renovation projects
• Communication skills and teaching experience
• Driving licence category B

Required skills

• Solid understanding of statics and moisture problems
• Knowledge of building structures and materials
