Senior AI Engineer (Copenhagen)

About the role

Better Collective is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to drive AI‑powered solutions for its publishing business. Based in Copenhagen, you will collaborate with QA, product, editorial and production teams to create proofs‑of‑concept, MVPs and scalable systems for content, video, image and data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Build, run and evaluate proofs‑of‑concept and MVPs for automated content creation and AI‑assisted publishing workflows.
• Develop practical AI solutions using large language models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, retrieval systems, automation pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Experiment quickly with new tools, frameworks, models and technical approaches.
• Translate business needs into reliable technical solutions with a focus on speed and measurable value.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML tools, large language models and API integrations.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Ability to code, debug, integrate APIs and design AI‑powered workflows.
• Proven experience building and evaluating practical AI solutions.
