Principal (German-speaking) - Digital Government

About the role

Netcompany's Digital Government business unit is expanding in the German public sector and is looking for a German-speaking Principal to lead large, complex IT engagements. The role combines strong delivery leadership with commercial awareness, advising clients and growing long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large, complex IT engagements and ensure successful delivery, progress and high-quality outcomes.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders, including taking part in steering committee meetings.
• Advise clients, manage expectations and support key decisions throughout delivery.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and contribute to the commercial growth of established partnerships.
• Work closely with project teams and colleagues across Netcompany to ensure successful delivery.
• Adopt, understand and communicate Netcompany's delivery model, methodology and ways of working.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering complex IT projects and solutions, including leading large projects with agile development methodologies.
• Strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of the German public sector market, with the ability to build trust and client relationships.
• Fluent German and English at a full professional level, with strong communication skills in an international environment.
