Portfolio Manager – Driving Prioritisation and Strategic Execution

About the role

As a Portfolio Manager in the Tech Portfolio Management team, you will partner with the Head of Portfolio Management and senior leaders to shape the bank’s technology portfolio. You will translate complex data into clear recommendations, ensuring the organisation makes informed decisions on resource allocation and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support portfolio oversight, planning and prioritisation across strategic objectives.
• Develop decision materials, including monthly portfolio reporting, tracking and insights for senior leadership.
• Translate complex data and inputs into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and alignment across stakeholders to balance competing priorities.
• Establish, drive and continuously improve portfolio governance frameworks, processes and reporting.
• Identify and monitor portfolio health, risks, dependencies and trends, ensuring visibility and timely escalation.

Required profile

• Approximately 7 years of experience in portfolio, project or programme management, consulting or strategy.
• High personal drive and ownership mindset with a strong focus on delivering results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure problems clearly.
• Proven ability to manage complexity and balance multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Background in large corporate or multinational organisations and senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to prepare high‑quality presentations and decision materials.
