IT Security Specialist – Automation

About the role

JYSK Head Office in Aarhus is looking for an IT Security Specialist focused on automation. You will take ownership of the security automation platform, from initial setup to continuous improvement, and help drive the SOAR journey forward. You will work closely with colleagues across the security team, turning ideas into working solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain SOAR playbooks and automated response workflows for security incidents and operational processes
• Improve and streamline incident response to reduce manual work and speed up, standardise responses
• Integrate the SOAR platform with security tools and data sources such as SIEM, EDR, identity, threat intelligence and ticketing systems
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve existing security automations
• Identify automation opportunities and turn operational requirements into effective workflows
• Drive security automation initiatives from idea to implementation

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in security operations, incident response, SIEM or security automation
• Ability to take ownership and work independently, moving challenges forward
• Practical, curious approach to understanding systems and processes
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues

Required skills

• Experience with, or strong interest in, SOAR platforms, security automation and scripting
• Experience with Python or a similar scripting language, or willingness to develop these skills
