Internship in Economics, Management Consulting

About the role

Ramboll Management Consulting is looking for an intern in Economics in Aarhus, Denmark. You will work on several projects across different project teams, including those in other service practices, and gain insight into a global advisory firm while building a solid understanding of what it takes to work as a management consultant. The internship is full-time for 5 months, from 1 February 2027 to 30 June 2027, and you must be enrolled in a higher education programme throughout the period.

Key responsibilities

• Econometric and statistical analysis
• Setting up Excel models and interactive dashboards
• Data handling and cleaning of register and/or survey data
• Socio-economic analyses and assessments of large public projects or policies (local and regional)
• Planning and supporting data collection
• Reporting and presenting results in reports, inspiration catalogues and presentations

Required profile

• Student of a relevant higher education programme such as cand.oec, cand.polit or cand.oec with a focus on public policy
• Among the best in your studies
• Relevant experience from study jobs, internships or voluntary activities
• Danish citizenship or EU citizenship; applicants from outside the EU without a valid Danish residence permit cannot be considered
• Fluent spoken and written English (Danish is an advantage)

Required skills

• Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Statistical software such as Stata, SAS, R or Python is an advantage
• Structured, analytical and strategic thinking, able to work independently and in a team
