GRC Specialist, Group CISO Office

About the role

Netcompany is looking for a GRC Specialist to join its newly established GRC team in the Group CISO Office in Copenhagen. The team helps measure, manage and document information security in a large IT company, taking a pragmatic, technically grounded approach and working closely with the Application Security team, Operations, Internal IT and other business functions. The team is small, so candidates are expected to have broad experience across several areas rather than covering every one.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk scenarios, assess the effectiveness of mitigating controls and conduct risk assessments to support business decisions
• Set up automated measurements and KPIs on the implementation and effectiveness of security controls
• Translate regulatory and contractual security requirements into security baselines and standard methodologies
• Plan and run security awareness activities, including phishing simulations, micro-learning and onboarding and yearly training
• Drive smaller security improvement projects from planning to implementation
• Develop, maintain and test internal security processes such as major incident response, crisis management and business continuity

Required profile

• Broad experience in information security, with a solid understanding of its technical aspects and a general understanding of the software development life cycle
• Able to turn regulatory requirements into practical solutions, pragmatic and hands-on
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, computer science or a similar field
• Experience in several of the areas described in the responsibilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical teams, business functions, management and occasionally customers
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken
