Commercial Manager – Cement & Low-Carbon Solutions

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Commercial Manager for the Danish market, responsible for the commercial performance of its cement business and for building and scaling the market for low-carbon solutions. The role spans strategic market development and direct sales involvement, and refers to the Sales Director Northern Europe position. It requires frequent customer visits and relationship building across Denmark, with home base either in Denmark or southern Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue, volume and profit, develop and execute commercial plans and follow up forecasts, budgets and results
• Be the main commercial contact for strategic accounts and build long-term partnerships with end customers, distributors, advisors and contractors
• Negotiate contracts and large projects and manage pricing and margins
• Shape the market for low-emission products: identify segments and projects, build value-based arguments on sustainability and total cost, and help embed products in specifications and tenders
• Work closely with operations, supply chain, technical, sustainability and finance teams, and adapt to market, competition and regulatory trends

Required profile

• Solid commercial background with experience driving growth and market development
• Proven track record of sales results, negotiations and key account development
• Insight into the Danish construction and infrastructure market
• Interest in or experience with sustainable solutions and low-emission technologies
• Targeted, analytical and driven, able to balance strategy with execution
