Business Analyst (IT Sourcing) – Defence & Security

About the role

PA Consulting, a global consulting firm with deep expertise in defence, security, public sector, energy, transport, health and finance, is looking for an analytical, business-oriented Business Analyst in IT sourcing, governance, cybersecurity and cloud. You will support complex IT initiatives and transformations in a security-critical environment, working closely with customers' business and IT teams, suppliers and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business needs and analyse them against the customer's constraints
• Gather, analyse and document business and non-functional requirements
• Develop requirement specifications and user stories, ensuring traceability throughout the project
• Facilitate workshops and work with business, IT and external suppliers
• Support IT sourcing initiatives and evaluate solutions and suppliers
• Work with business and IT specialists in cloud environments with a strong focus on IT security

Required profile

• Experience as a management consultant, business analyst, requirements specialist, business architect, IT consultant or similar
• Experience with IT sourcing and working with external suppliers
• Experience in business analysis, process discovery, requirement specification and requirement management
• Previously security cleared and able to be re-cleared

Required skills

• Familiarity with Prince2, Scrum/Agile methods and possibly TOGAF
• Knowledge of IT sourcing and cloud environments
