About the role

G4S is looking for Service/Center Guards to work in its retail locations in Aalborg and Hjørring. The role combines visible security presence with customer service, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the centre, monitor video surveillance and respond to incidents.
• Assist customers with questions and provide a friendly, authoritative presence.
• Prevent theft, vandalism and disturbances by spotting abnormal behaviour early.
• Check that emergency exits are clear, control access points and support first‑aid situations.
• Hand over shift instructions and report any security‑related issues.

Required profile

• Outgoing, calm and able to keep an overview under pressure.
• Clear, pedagogical communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
• Flexible, responsible and comfortable with a dynamic workday.
• Professional handling of conflicts and a well‑presented appearance.

Required skills

• Completed AMU "Basic Guard" course (or equivalent police training with exemption).
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Basic IT competence for using security systems.
