Process Operator Trainee – February 2027 start

About the role

BASF is looking for four Process Operator Trainees to start in February 2027 at its Nutrition Ingredients site in Ballerup. You will learn to operate and monitor spray‑drying and packaging lines that produce vitamin and carotenoid formulations for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle raw materials, perform picking and weighing tasks.
• Operate and monitor spray‑drying equipment and packaging machines.
• Document production data and generate reports in accordance with GMP standards.
• Support the team in maintaining optimal production quality and safety.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or having completed the second part of a basic technical education.
• Interest in food‑technology processes and high product quality.
• Willingness to work in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Motivation to learn new equipment and processes.

Required skills

• Experience with spray drying equipment.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment.
• Understanding of GMP compliance.
• Raw material handling and weighing proficiency.
