Operational Buyer – Denmark Plant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operational Buyer to join our Denmark plant. In this role you will ensure that materials and services are available on time to support daily production and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create, release and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP.
• Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate order confirmations, delivery schedules and routine purchasing matters with suppliers.
• Place replenishment orders based on demand and planning requirements.
• Expedite critical materials to avoid production or operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier master data in D365, including lead times, MOQ, MPQ and price agreements.
• Support resolution of invoice discrepancies, delivery shortages and quality issues.
• Assist with supplier performance tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Quality and Finance teams to ensure material availability.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Purchasing or a related field.
• Preferably 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; D365 experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
