Skiftholdsleder – Produktion i Ballerup

About the role

The Shift Leader will report to the Production Manager and take full operational responsibility for a 3‑shift production line at BASF’s Ballerup site. The role ensures stable, safe and efficient manufacturing of micro‑encapsulated vitamins and carotenoids for the food, supplement and pharmaceutical markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shift team during day, evening or night shifts, overseeing all production activities.
• Execute and monitor the production plan, managing output, timing and resource allocation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and hand‑over between shifts.
• Track quality, safety, production output and asset efficiency, taking immediate corrective action on deviations.
• Escalate critical issues according to established procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of operators and processes.

• Proven experience in operational leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong decision‑making skills and ability to act quickly under pressure.
• Commitment to high standards of safety, quality and asset utilization.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
