About the role

Langhøjskolen is looking for two qualified mathematics teachers to start on 1 August 2026. The positions are permanent, with the possibility of reduced hours and a strong mentorship programme for new staff.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to primary (Lillehøj) and secondary (Storehøj) students.
• Co‑teach as a class teacher and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, especially project‑based learning.
• Optionally combine mathematics teaching with physical education, practical‑musical subjects, natural sciences, craft‑design, music or technology.
• Participate in the school’s chess programme and talent initiatives if interested.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment and communicate regularly with parents.

Required profile

• Passion for creating inclusive, motivating learning environments.
• Strong relational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to involve students’ voices in planning and evaluation.
• Clear classroom management aligned with colleagues.
• Interest in practice‑based teaching, project‑based learning and cross‑subject collaboration.
