Team Leader, Soil, Groundwater and Building Contamination

About the role

Ramboll is looking for a team leader for its soil, groundwater and building contamination division. You will lead 15–20 employees based in Aarhus and Aalborg, combining people leadership with professional development of projects and customers. The role sits within a nationwide division of more than 65 specialists across five geographic teams and seven offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Aarhus and Aalborg teams, focusing on onboarding, development, 1:1 meetings, well-being and retention
• Plan capacity and resources across projects and offices together with project and business leads
• Provide expert support and quality assurance for investigations, risk assessments, remediation measures and regulatory processes
• Act as project manager for larger framework agreements and private and public client assignments, and help shape project budgets
• Contribute to tenders, customer dialogue and the project portfolio, ensuring quality and compliance
• Support a safe workplace, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Higher education in environmental engineering, geology, biology, environmental chemistry or a related field
• At least seven years of experience in environmental consulting
• Experience leading consultant teams and strong project planning and budgeting skills
• Fluent Danish and professional English
• Nice to have: tender and framework agreement experience, knowledge of Danish regulations, leadership in a matrix organisation
