Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Powermatch is looking for a detail‑oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 2‑3 years of experience. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our AI‑driven recruitment platform by creating and executing thorough test plans.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug‑tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain, enhance, and scale automated testing frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Analyze test results, provide actionable feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
