About the role
The Office of Procurement at UNDP is seeking three Procurement Associates to support the Global Health Supply Centre (GHSC) in Copenhagen. The role will contribute to the procurement and management of health products for Global Fund‑financed programmes, ensuring timely, quality‑assured delivery to partner governments.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate procurement processes for health commodities, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
- Maintain and monitor framework agreements with manufacturers and procurement agencies.
- Coordinate with Country Offices and regional specialists to ensure compliance with UNDP procurement policies and risk‑management standards.
- Provide technical advice and capacity‑building support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support quality‑assurance and health product management activities within the GHSC.
Required profile
- Current UNDP/UNCDF/UNV staff eligible under Tier 0, 1 or 2.
- Experience in public or international procurement, preferably in health or humanitarian sectors.
- Understanding of UN procurement regulations, accountability frameworks, and sustainable procurement practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to work in a multicultural team.
Required skills
- Knowledge of procurement life‑cycle processes and tendering procedures.
- Familiarity with health product supply chains and quality‑assurance standards.
- Ability to draft and evaluate procurement documents and contracts.
