Master Data Specialist

About the role

As a Master Data Specialist you will create and maintain item master data in response to market changes and customer demands, working closely with R&D, Engineering, Supply and Service teams across New Product Development and Existing Product Development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate master data activities across development projects with stakeholders in Aalborg, Nijmegen and Qingdao.
• Facilitate decision‑making for unclear master‑data attributes and ensure supply‑chain readiness.
• Create new items during Engineering Change processes in collaboration with factories.
• Govern master‑data processes in Team Center and ERP, ensuring compliance and proper decision rights.
• Maintain item creation in PLM/ERP systems (Team Center, Axapta, Pulse & Magic – D365) and drive continuous improvement.

• Commercially and customer‑oriented with a structured, analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, proactive and able to build networks.
• Flexible, outgoing, with strong drive and courage to achieve results.

Required skills

• Experience with PLM and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Team Center.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Proficiency in Excel.
