Head of Department / Senior Project Manager – Water/Sewerage Projects and Rehabilitation

About the role

NCC is looking for a department head or senior project manager to lead its unit for rehabilitation projects and large water/sewage projects in Greater Copenhagen. The new colleague is expected to take over from the current production director within a few years. You will report to production director Kim Petersen and work from a satellite office in Valby or Tåstrup, also from construction sites across Greater Copenhagen and the main office in Søborg.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 8–10 permanent employees and a larger number of hourly workers
• Manage contracts and customer handling, project follow-up (delivery, budget, time, quality, safety and working environment)
• Report on budget, status and progress
• Take part in tender processes and contribute to growth in both staff and projects
• Shape results on projects and build positive relationships with customers and partners while supporting employee well-being

Required profile

• Department head or senior project manager with potential to become a production director
• Proven experience leading large infrastructure projects; experience with water/sewage and/or rehabilitation projects is an advantage but not required
• Strong goal-setting and business mindset, good commercial understanding and business acumen
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with customers, partners and colleagues
