Founding Product Designer

About the role

This is a founding product design role at a seed‑stage B2B SaaS startup building AI‑powered operations software for home‑service businesses. You will be the first dedicated designer, shaping the product from the ground up alongside a small, fast‑moving team of second‑time founders.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product design across a feature‑rich platform, from concept through shipped product.
• Prototype rapidly using Figma, AI‑assisted tools, and code when needed to validate ideas quickly.
• Conduct customer interviews and translate needs into clear, elegant UX solutions.
• Simplify dense, multi‑feature B2B interfaces into effortless experiences for non‑technical users.
• Collaborate directly with engineering, jumping into React/TypeScript when it accelerates delivery.
• Pitch in wherever design is needed across the business, from marketing assets to product flows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Hands‑on experience at an early‑stage startup, ideally on 0‑to‑1 products.
• Proven ability to design complex, feature‑rich B2B products and make them intuitive.
• High ownership, low ego, and comfort operating without a product manager or detailed specs.
• Scrappy, fast‑moving style with a track record of building and shipping independently.

What we offer

• Salary range: $100,000 – $180,000 USD annually.
