Financial Controller - International Company

About the role

GML A/S is looking for a Financial Controller for an international company based on Funen. You will play a central role in the finance function, working with financial data in a structured and analytical way and helping improve processes and data quality. You will be a key partner to the CFO and help strengthen financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts together with the finance team, including monthly reporting
• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and FP&A
• Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards
• Liquidity management and cash flow analysis
• Control and optimise internal financial processes
• Prepare materials for audit and work with external auditors
• Contribute to the day-to-day running of the finance function through coordination and expertise

Required profile

• Strong professional background in financial management, preferably at least 5 years as a Financial Controller or in a similar role
• Experience from auditing is also welcome
• Experience from or with production companies is an advantage
• Relevant degree in economics, accounting or finance
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, preferably IFRS
• Fluid Danish and English, written and spoken; the group language is English

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Analytical, structured and proactive approach, able to work independently
