Electrical CAD Designer – Power Systems

About the role

Ramboll Energy in Denmark is looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Designer to join its Energy team in Vejle. You will turn engineering input into clear and accurate drawings and models for multidisciplinary energy projects supporting the green transition, working closely with engineers, project managers and other technical specialists. The role involves coordinating updates across disciplines so that project documentation stays consistent and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and update technical drawings and CAD models based on input from engineers and technical specialists.
• Support engineering projects through design and delivery by producing accurate and consistent technical documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and design information with engineers and other disciplines to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain and revise project drawings and documentation in line with project requirements, standards and agreed workflows.
• Contribute to improving CAD processes, templates and ways of working within the team.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience in Electrical CAD Design or technical drafting.
• Experience producing technical drawings and documentation for engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in BIM coordination, documentation standards and cross-disciplinary project delivery.
• Good written and spoken Danish and English, able to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SEE Electrical (alternatively PC|SCHEMATIC).
• Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or Revit.
