Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Family Office

About the role

Stubkjær Family Group, a value-based family office founded on Danish wind power roots and managing assets across listed equities, private equity, infrastructure, green energy, real estate and active ownerships, is looking for a Chief Investment Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will advise management, the owner family and the board and help shape the long-term investment strategy across generations and asset classes. This is a new position within a small family office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the investment strategy, risk profile and investment plans across asset classes
• Maintain a portfolio view focused on return, risk, correlation, liquidity and gearing
• Identify and evaluate opportunities and develop programmes in private equity and infrastructure
• Build risk monitoring, performance tracking and transparent reporting
• Prepare investment recommendations, business cases and decision proposals
• Strengthen investment processes and systems and follow up external managers and advisors
• Establish and develop governance, processes, reporting structures and the organisational framework for investment activities

Required profile

• Solid investment experience and at least six years across asset classes, including listed investments and private equity
• Background such as a capital fund, large corporation, wealth manager, family office or similar
• Degree in economics or related field (e.g. cand.polit., cand.oecon., cand.merc.)
• Interest in using AI and digitalisation to support investment work
• Analytical, decisive and structured, with integrity and strong judgement
