CAD Designer – Power Systems

About the role

Ramboll Energy in Denmark is looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join its Energy team in Aarhus. You will turn engineering input into clear and accurate drawings and models, working on multidisciplinary energy projects that support the green transition. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers and other technical specialists to produce high-quality project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and update technical drawings and CAD models based on input from engineers and technical specialists.
• Support engineering projects through design and delivery by producing accurate and consistent technical documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and design information with engineers and other disciplines to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain and revise project drawings and documentation in line with project requirements, standards and agreed workflows.
• Contribute to improving CAD processes, templates and ways of working within the team.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience in CAD design or technical drafting.
• Experience producing technical drawings and documentation for engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Good written and spoken Danish and English, able to communicate in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SEE Electrical (alternatively PC|SCHEMATIC).
• Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or Revit.
• Experience in BIM coordination, documentation standards and cross-disciplinary project delivery.
