Apprentice – Surface Finishing

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for an apprentice in its surface finishing department. You will learn a hands-on trade while developing your technical skills in a global company focused on innovation, sustainability and development, within a strong professional community.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare substrates for surface treatment
• Paint, varnish and carry out other forms of surface finishing
• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Quality control to ensure a good final result
• Work according to safety, quality and environmental standards
• Cooperate with colleagues across production

Required profile

• Has completed or is in progress with a relevant basic course
• Interested in technology, production and craftsmanship
• Eager to learn, curious and responsible for their own development
• Sense of quality and attention to detail
• Thrives in practical work and teamwork
