Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET or Java) – Consultant Profile

About the role

Sopra Steria, one of Europe's leading consulting firms in digital transformation, is looking for an experienced developer with strong consulting skills who thrives at the intersection of technology, business and collaboration. As a senior consultant you will advise customers on technical solutions and architecture, turn business needs into robust IT solutions and work closely with public and private clients, either at their site, from the Copenhagen office or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on technical solutions and architecture
• Turn business needs into robust IT solutions
• Drive dialogue with business, users and technical stakeholders
• Contribute to estimation, planning and technical decisions
• Follow developments in AI and modern development tools and help customers identify where AI creates real business value

Required profile

• Several years of experience in software development, from analysis and design through implementation and testing
• Full-stack developer with good knowledge of either Java or .NET
• Experience in customer-facing roles or consulting
• Strong relationship building and understanding of the business behind solutions
• Fluent Danish, spoken and written

Required skills

• .NET or Java/Spring
• APIs and integration solutions
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Frontend technologies such as Angular, React, Vue or Balzor
• Azure, AWS or GCP
• DevOps, CI/CD and modern development methods
• AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, and implementation of AI-based solutions
