Senior AI Engineer

About the role

JYSK is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help accelerate AI adoption across the organisation. You will join an agile AI Engineering team and contribute to integrating AI into business processes, bridging software engineering and machine learning to build scalable, efficient and reusable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale end-to-end AI applications and MLOps pipelines.
• Design, develop and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems, from orchestration and tool integration to production deployment and monitoring.
• Implement RAG pipelines, embedding workflows and semantic search solutions where appropriate.
• Research and develop classical and state-of-the-art AI models across NLP, computer vision, deep generative models, graph neural networks and reinforcement learning.
• Collaborate with data, AI and platform engineers to integrate models into AI products.
• Manage AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform and work with architects on solution design.
• Support end-users of AI solutions with a "you build it, you own it" mindset.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field; a PhD is an advantage.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering and designing AI solutions at scale using Python.
• Experience developing, deploying, operating and monitoring AI models in production, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (Azure or AWS experience and willingness to work with GCP is also acceptable).
• Hands-on experience building AI agents with RAG, pre-training/fine-tuning LLMs, or deploying generative AI for computer vision.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges while collaborating with stakeholders.
