Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role

Reel is building a renewable energy platform that matches renewable supply with corporate demand. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first contact many companies have with Reel: you find the right people, get them interested in renewable electricity solutions and book meetings for the sales team. The role is part-time (15-20 hours per week) or full-time, and is presented as a way to gain real work experience in sustainability and/or sales before starting studies.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls, mostly by phone, with email and LinkedIn, and reach out to new companies
• Have first conversations with decision-makers, qualify leads and book follow-up meetings; sometimes attend the meetings
• Research target companies and stakeholders to tailor messaging and outreach
• Maintain and update CRM data (HubSpot) to keep the sales pipeline clear
• Experiment with different outreach tactics to improve conversion rates and share learnings with the team
• Work to a weekly target for booked meetings

Required profile

• Fluent in Danish and English
• No degree or sales experience required; experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus
• Interest in sustainability, climate action or renewable energy
• Curious about technology and business, motivated to learn and grow
• Enjoys talking to new people, including those who do not expect a call, and can handle rejection
