About the role

BAHR is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join its fast‑growing legal team in Copenhagen. You will support daily bookkeeping, manage debtor and creditor accounts, and act as a key liaison between the finance function and the firm’s lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including posting entries and maintaining ledgers.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Conduct account reconciliations and provide ongoing financial monitoring.
• Collaborate with lawyers on billing, case‑related invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Handle various administrative tasks and adapt to evolving responsibilities as the firm expands.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or a related field.
• Independent, proactive, and detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
• Relevant higher education in economics, accounting, or audit.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Maconomy.
• Advanced Excel skills.
