Project and Design Manager – lead projects, customers and interdisciplinary solutions

About the role

Norconsult is looking for a Project and Design Manager to lead exciting construction projects in one of the leading engineering consultancies in the Nordics. You will be responsible for projects from early concept through design and execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from early phases through design, tendering and execution.
• Manage design coordination across disciplines and ensure progress, quality, budget and schedule.
• Facilitate project meetings, reviews and decision processes.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, authorities, contractors and internal specialists.
• Contribute to offers, pricing, project descriptions and sales activities.
• Support cross‑office collaboration and develop internal methods and standards.

Required profile

• Degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture or a related building discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in consultancy, contractor, client organization or similar.
• Proven ability to create overview, drive processes and maintain strong client relationships.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to participate in offer and sales work.
• Structured work style with focus on time, cost, quality and resources.
• Clear professional communication in Danish, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience with project management, design management or discipline leadership.
• Good understanding of construction processes, design, tendering and execution.
• Proficiency with digital tools for project management, budgeting, planning or design.
