Process and Mechanical Engineer – Life Science

About the role

Norconsult Denmark – Life Science is looking for a Process and Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team. You will work on projects for pharmaceutical industry clients, providing expertise in process equipment and mechanical design.

Key responsibilities

• Manage process‑mechanical projects at client sites.
• Participate in pipe design for process equipment, including material selection for GMP/GEP environments.
• Support qualification, validation, FAT/SAT activities and develop equipment specifications, URS and part lists.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, contribute to risk analyses and advise on machine safety and ATEX compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of process‑mechanical experience in the Life Science industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GEP, ATEX regulations and pharmaceutical equipment.
• Fluent in Danish and English for technical reporting.

Required skills

• Pipe design and material selection for GMP/GEP environments.
• Machine safety and ATEX compliance.
• FAT/SAT testing and validation procedures.
• Risk analysis and technical documentation preparation.
