Multiskilled Technician – Automation Systems

About the role

Dematic is looking for a service-oriented technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a fully automated logistics system installed at a Rema 1000 warehouse in Horsens. Once the warehouse is finished, it will include an automatic high-bay racking system, a fully automated pallet storage system, semi- and fully automated palletizing stations and an automated picking system for quarter-pallets.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the system and production running
• Troubleshoot and fix faults while the system is in operation
• Carry out all types of repairs
• Perform condition-based maintenance
• Support colleagues with smaller repair and maintenance tasks

Required profile

• Customer- and service-oriented, able to work under pressure
• Trained craftsman in an electrical and/or mechanical trade
• Good broad IT knowledge
• Willingness to work three shifts including weekends
• Fluent English
• Ideal background as an automation mechanic, automation technician, industrial electrician, welder, mechanic or electrician with experience of automated systems

Required skills

• Familiarity with PLCs, drives and automated systems
• Experience with automated systems (ideal)
