Managing Consultant - Public Services (Denmark)

About the role

PA Consulting is hiring a Managing Consultant (Director) for its Public Services team in Denmark. You will work at the heart of strategic transformation for public sector clients, designing and delivering solutions that improve organisational effectiveness, support policy objectives and create better outcomes for citizens. The work covers strategy, operating model design and large-scale transformation, often enabled by digital and data-driven capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to revenue generation by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals and supporting the conversion of new work
• Lead and deliver complex analysis, strategy and transformation workstreams within public sector programmes
• Act as a senior voice on client engagements, shaping recommendations and supporting decisions at leadership level
• Support the design and implementation of operating models, governance structures and organisational transformations
• Build trusted relationships with clients in complex stakeholder and political environments
• Support the growth of the Public Services business in Denmark
• Coach and support junior consultants

Required profile

• Proven experience in management consulting or a related field
• Experience delivering strategy, operating model or transformation projects
• Strong understanding of public sector structures, governance and operating environments
• Interest in public sector transformation and ambition to play a broader role in a growing team
• Right to live and work in Denmark

Required skills

• Digital transformation, data or business process improvement experience is advantageous
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Clear communication with senior leadership and stakeholder management in complex environments
• Commercial mindset and interest in business development
• Autonomy, ownership and a proactive, structured approach
