Lead Project Planner – Pharmaceutical Capital Projects

About the role

Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced Lead Project Planner to support a major pharmaceutical capital investment programme. This 12‑month contract role will provide schedule leadership and strategic planning across multiple workstreams on‑site in Hillerød.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring milestones and critical path activities stay on track.
• Analyse schedule performance, identify risks and bottlenecks, and advise project leadership.
• Support project teams with planning insights for informed decision‑making.
• Develop, manage and optimise schedules in line with established planning standards.
• Communicate accurate schedule updates across the project organisation.
• Collaborate with package leads and stakeholders to understand dependencies, constraints and delivery risks.
• Coordinate planning activities across functions while supporting resource and workload management.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project planning experience on large‑scale CAPEX programmes.
• Background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline; PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 for complex project scheduling.
