Insurance Manager

About the role

NCC is looking for an Insurance Manager based in Søborg, reporting to the Legal Manager. The role is a central specialist position where you act as NCC's insurance expert and advisor across its construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring that insurance and risk matters are handled professionally and business-oriented so that projects receive the best possible support throughout their life.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the organisation on insurance and risk conditions during the tender, contract and execution phases of construction and infrastructure projects
• Provide internal advice on insurance requirements, client requirements and contractual risks
• Handle claims and compensation cases and support colleagues in production through the whole process
• Coordinate and develop NCC Denmark's insurance programme together with brokers and insurers, including NCC Forsäkring
• Ensure effective policy management and insurance administration
• Work with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation

Required profile

• Solid professional background in insurance and motivation to apply knowledge in practice
• Experience in a similar function in a large contractor, broker firm or company with its own insurance programme
• Strong experience in commercial insurance and claims handling
• Experience advising internal or external stakeholders
• Understanding of contractual arrangements and risk assessment
• Interest in or experience from construction, infrastructure or other project-based companies
• Ability to turn complex insurance issues into clear, understandable advice, work independently and balance expertise with pragmatic solutions
