Global Mobility Lead

About the role

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Global Mobility professional to design, implement and manage its worldwide mobility framework. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure compliant, efficient cross‑border employee movements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a global mobility strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish governance, principles and decision frameworks for international mobility.
• Act as subject‑matter expert and primary contact for immigration, work permits, visas and travel compliance.
• Manage risks related to immigration, employment law, cross‑border taxation and social security.
• Build scalable workflows for permits, visas, A1 certificates, business‑traveler compliance and cross‑border employee moves.

Required profile

• Relevant academic degree with 5‑10 years of experience in global mobility, immigration or international HR.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to partner with HR, Legal, Payroll and Finance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a can‑do attitude in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of immigration, work authorization and business travel compliance.
• Experience managing cross‑border taxation and social‑security matters.
• Vendor management experience with external mobility service providers.
