About the role
The Danish Red Cross is seeking a Global Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Advisor to strengthen evidence‑based MHPSS practice in migration, displacement and emergency settings. Based at the headquarters in Copenhagen, you will join the Health Team within the Technical Quality and Impact Unit of the International Department.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies delivering MHPSS interventions.
- Lead capacity‑development activities, including training, mentorship and knowledge‑sharing across humanitarian programmes.
- Ensure quality assurance and monitoring of MHPSS services to meet international standards.
- Contribute to the development of tools, guidelines and best‑practice resources for MHPSS in complex emergencies.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote evidence‑based approaches and research.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in MHPSS programming within humanitarian or migration contexts.
- Proven ability to work with national societies and international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on quality improvement.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
