Frontend Engineer – Expert Workflows for Wind Turbine Diagnostics

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer at SkySpecs you will shape the user experience of a SaaS platform that monitors wind turbines. The product serves technical experts who need to analyse large volumes of sensor data, detect anomalies and make operational decisions. You will work closely with product, design and domain experts and report to the VP of Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine frontend features in the wind turbine monitoring platform using Elm.
• Collaborate with product, design, and domain experts to understand user needs and workflows.
• Design interfaces for technical users handling complex operational and analytical data.
• Create efficient, high‑signal workflows for investigation, analysis, and decision‑making.
• Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture and improve usability, consistency, and maintainability over time.

Required profile

• Strong experience building modern web applications.
• Passion for interaction design, workflow design, and product usability.
• Ability to tackle complex or ambiguous problems in collaboration with expert users.
• Curiosity about renewable‑energy domains and willingness to learn.
• Good judgment structuring information in dense interfaces.
• Comfortable working in an English‑speaking professional environment.
