Freelance Long-Term EN > Traditional Chinese (HK) Life Science Translator

About the role

We are looking for experienced freelance linguists to translate English source material into Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) for life‑science related content. The role is long‑term, fully remote and supports a variety of clients in the investment banking and life‑science sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and proofread documents covering non‑clinical technical, healthcare marketing, medical, pharmacovigilance, CMC and clinical‑legal topics.
• Collaborate with project managers and follow guidance from your manager to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality, meet tight deadlines and complete required translation and MTPE tests.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English and Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong).
• Specialisation in at least one of the listed life‑science fields.
• Strong attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
• Availability to work in an Asian time zone is preferred.
• Relevant qualification: degree in translation/linguistics with translation training, or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• Professional translation from English to Traditional Chinese (HK).
• Machine Translation Post‑Editing (MTPE).
• Knowledge of life‑science terminology.
