Finance Business Partner / Business Controller

About the role

Nobia, a leading European kitchen specialist, is building the finance function of the future in its Nordic brands. The Finance Business Partner / Business Controller will combine controlling, analysis and business partnering to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly closing, forecasts and performance management, ensuring accurate reporting and variance analysis.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner, providing proactive sparring to managers and challenging assumptions.
• Analyse performance across revenue, margin, costs, customers and products, delivering clear insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and communicate management reporting, making complex financial information easy to understand.
• Identify and optimise processes using AI, SQL, BI, automation and advanced analytics.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with a strong interest in the business behind the numbers.
• Proactive, curious and comfortable questioning results and proposing actions.
• Confident communicator who can explain financial topics to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in business controlling, FP&A or a similar partnering role.
• Academic background such as cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit. or similar.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with reporting/BI tools.
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
• Knowledge of SQL and data‑driven analytics.
