About the role

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to ensure smooth daily operations and drive digital transformation for our small and medium‑size enterprise clients. You will work within PwC's Bookkeeping Centre West, supporting a diverse portfolio of customers across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping, manage accounts payable and receivable, and conduct regular reconciliations for assigned clients.
• Prepare period balances, financial reports, and compile documentation for auditors during year‑end closing.
• Advise clients on accounting processes, system usage, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and implement digital optimisation projects, including new system solutions, integrations, and automation of manual tasks.
• Onboard new clients and act as a primary point of contact.
• Provide professional support and training to junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a bookkeeper, accounting consultant, controller or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail combined with a mindset for smarter, digital ways of working.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close client interaction.
