Customer‑facing advisor for complex accounting challenges

About the role

Join PwC's Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team in Copenhagen to help Danish mid‑size and large companies solve complex accounting issues, including IFRS conversions, corporate law matters, and M&A transactions, while leveraging the latest AI tools for data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on IFRS implementation, annual reporting, and corporate/fund law matters such as mergers, demergers and acquisitions.
• Develop client notes, accounting manuals, and improve annual reports using AI‑driven data quality and process optimisation.
• Support project management, sales activities and client relationship development across a range of accounting and financial reporting topics.

Required profile

• Completed a degree in economics, finance or accounting (or an HD with ongoing or completed master’s degree) and a few years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with complex financial topics and eager to learn new AI‑driven processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA coding.
• Experience with AI tools for data analysis, quality assurance and automation.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Danish Annual Accounts Act and related corporate legislation.
