Bogføringsmedarbejder – work with bookkeeping, VAT and digitalisation

About the role

Join PwC's SME Digital & Outsourcing team in Hillerød as a Bookkeeping Associate. You will support a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑size enterprises with their accounting, VAT, and digital transformation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including debtor and creditor management.
• Carry out reconciliations and monthly reporting, supporting auditors during year‑end closing.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist clients in optimising and digitalising their finance functions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver advisory and consulting services.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping or related finance roles, preferably with SMEs.
• Educational background in accounting, finance assistance, controlling, or similar.
• Familiarity with Danish tax regulations and VAT processes.
• Interest in digital tools and IT integrations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑conomic, Navision or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced Excel skills for daily tasks.
• Experience with payroll systems and payroll reconciliations (optional).
• Comfort using digital platforms and automation tools.
