Automation Team Lead

About the role

Syntegon Technology A/S in Sandved is looking for an Automation Team Lead to head an experienced automation team of about 30 people who develop, program and implement software solutions for complex special machines. The team is part of the Technology team and reports to the Head of Technology. The role combines personnel management, planning, coordination and development.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the team's competencies match current and future project needs
• Support an effective allocation of resources across projects, special tasks and service activities
• Follow up on progress, capacity and priorities in the team
• Develop employees through coaching, feedback and close follow-up
• Contribute to high quality and stable execution of complex automation projects
• Strengthen collaboration between automation, engineering, project management and service
• Support standardisation and further development of software solutions and work methods
• Help maintain a culture of responsibility, respect, collaboration and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Technical background such as engineer, automation technician or machine operator
• Experience programming automation solutions and developing, designing and preferably standardising software for complex automated machines
• Experience from pharma, medtech or another regulated industry
• Understanding of GAMP/GMP; knowledge of PackML is an advantage
• Experience with or clear motivation for people management and team development
• Good Danish and English communication skills
