Associate Placement Specialist

About the role

The Associate Placement Specialist supports Sales Executives in delivering insurance solutions and placement initiatives for both existing and new clients. Reporting to the Portfolio Solutions Leader in Denmark, the role involves analysis, project coordination, and market communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sales reports and assess client insurance needs.
• Develop offers and benchmarks for customers.
• Analyse Marsh’s portfolio to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Lead or participate in placement projects, including tendering and renewal of facilities.
• Conduct facility tenders across the Nordics and support client teams with market assessments.
• Create communication material for renewal terms and maintain dialogue with facility markets.
• Collect data and report market developments to strategy and sales teams.
• Participate in IT projects related to facilities.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance brokerage or carrier environments, especially in broker‑carrier collaboration.
• Relevant insurance education or at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation abilities.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and structured work approach.
• Excellent communication in Danish and English.
• Positive, empathetic attitude and professional ambition.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
