Associate Affera Mapping Specialist

About the role

Join Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions team as an Associate Affera Mapping Specialist. This 6‑to‑12‑month programme provides deep clinical training, hands‑on catheter lab exposure, and mentorship to develop you into a confident, customer‑facing Technical Consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow Technical Consultants in hospital cath labs to observe electrophysiology procedures.
• Complete online and virtual training modules, hands‑on sessions, and regular assessments.
• Undertake assignments independently or collaboratively with ETP colleagues.
• Travel nationally and potentially internationally for training.
• After graduation, independently support ablation procedures, troubleshoot live cases, and train clinical staff on Medtronic technologies.
• Collaborate with account teams, manage your own diary and territory responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical science, or a related scientific field.
• Based in Denmark, preferably near Copenhagen, with a full EU driver’s licence.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious, and able to travel with occasional overnight stays and unsociable hours.
• Strong desire to help patients by providing healthcare solutions.
