Assistant Store Manager – Maternity Cover

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to cover a maternity leave for at least 12 months. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive store performance, uphold brand standards, and lead the team in Ringstead.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving KPIs and identifying revenue‑growth opportunities.
• Set daily and weekly sales targets for the team to improve store performance.
• Monitor KPI results and team performance through reports and communicate action plans to the Store Manager.
• Control costs and oversee store operations, including inventory management, payroll, administration, and staff scheduling.
• Inspire, motivate and develop the team through training, coaching and product knowledge.
• Take full responsibility for the store during the Store Manager’s absence.
• Maintain a strong visual presentation throughout the store.

Required profile

• Available for a minimum 12‑month maternity cover as Assistant Store Manager.
• Passionate about the Levi’s brand and its values.
• Strong customer‑service skills with experience leading and developing a retail team.
• Proven ability to work towards and drive KPIs and sales targets in a dynamic retail environment.
• Experience in store operations, inventory control and administrative tasks.
• Ability to motivate the team to exceed performance targets.
